On 11th Shrawan 2075, with the initiatives of Grade X students (participation & contribution of entire school) teachers’ day celebration program was organized to pay due respect & gratitude towards the teachers who have been shading lights of education upon the students like us for 230 days a year. They have molded hundreds of students into a better & responsive human being. Without the financial & physical support from students of class 1 to 10 this program wouldn’t have been a success. Students also contributed by performing & showing respect for our teachers. As required in all programs, we managed the decoration, gifts, food, invitation card & sound system. Both girls & boys equally participated in this program. Boys were handed over responsibility of managing the seats & audiences while girls volunteered in decoration of the stage. With teachers anticipating major things, students with astonished hearts & we grade X students with nervousness this program came to a start at 10:10 am. Anchors (Prashant & Prakriti) formally started the program followed by performances from class 1, 2 & 3 consecutively. Games for both male & female teachers were organized. For male teachers, we had a very simple game that proved to be harder. In this specific game, male teachers were asked to catch as may water balls as they could but the twist in this was that each teacher would be given a number & they had to catch the upward thrown water balls whenever their number was being called. Teachers had no idea when their name shall be called. In this game Shyam Sir, our Math teacher took away the victory. Similarly for female teachers, we had prime ball collecting game. We had prepared balls with different number written on them which laid scattered on a basket. Teachers were asked to stand over the opposite side of the table where basket was placed. They had to run towards basket, bring the prime balls & keep it in their individual balls & run over again. This went for 15 minutes with different teachers battling one on one. At the end Sarita miss was crowned the winner. After these games, we had few more performances. Then we paid our respect by offering Khada & paintings. We asked volunteering support of top 3 students of grade 6 to 10 for helping us offer the gifts. We also had gifts for teachers who won the games. We had also secretly held voting all over the school .Sarita Mam proved to be the Student Choice Teacher & she was also awarded with Student Choice Award. After this we had cake cutting ceremony, for this we had ordered 12 pound cake & we distributed cake to entire school. We provided food packet & juice to each teacher. Then for further hosting Aayushi & Sonam volunteered. After this there were lots of programs & performances held. At the end of the program, our music teacher Shambu Sir sang beautiful songs. Khem Sir& Lok Sir danced. In this way after three hours at 1:20 program came to an end. After completion of program, we got great feedbacks from our teachers who were very happy & satisfied. We felt like our program became a success indeed as all we had asked & wanted was that precious proud smile in our teachers’ face. We had our last Teachers’ Day in this school celebrated happily. We had to clean up the dirt & manage the stage. Hence after 30 minutes, all of us gathered at the ground & went for ice cream treat!! We had our best experience with our teachers. We are proud of what we did no matter how many ups & downs we had experienced.
